SEO Strategist

The SEO Strategist will be responsible for day-to-day management of multiple SEO campaigns. This position will work with the digital marketing and content teams to execute on SEO strategies for brokerages in the real estate industry. In addition, collaborate with the development operations team from a technical aspect to further enhance our SEO software platform.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Know and understand modern techniques for SEO
  • Develops SEO recommendations based on data-driven analysis
  • Leads all SEO initiatives, including on-page, off-page, content, and technical strategies
  • Builds and presents analytics reports, site audits, keyword analysis reports, and competitive analysis reports
  • Have a high level of technical SEO knowledge
  • Collaborates with colleagues from other departments and advises them on SEO best practices
  • Excels at multitasking and project management
  • Meets deadlines and thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Possess the ability to communicate directly with clients, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities:

  • Technical SEO audits
  • A/B testing, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in organic search campaigns
  • Perform ongoing keyword and competitor research
  • On-site and off-site SEO
  • Ability to conduct in-depth competitor analysis
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Identify areas of opportunity and inefficiency that can lead to a greater increase in traffic and lead generation
  • Keyword optimizations and refinement
  • Conduct analysis to measure performance and drive strategy and discussion
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to organic search digital space
  • Develop on-site campaigns for conversion rate optimization
  • Collaborate with technical staff on refinements to our SEO platform
  • Collaborate with writers on content strategy
  • Manage multiple accounts and strategies at a time
  • Create monthly reports for clients
  • Client communication
  • Troubleshoot issues for the team
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Passionate about SEO and technology
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience working with Moz and Google Products (GMB, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
  • Quality written and verbal communication skills are a necessity
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and focus
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
