Hello and welcome to another edition of Unlocking Your Potential. Now this, unlike the Tech Tuesdays that we do every Tuesday, is focused on what it is that these features mean to your business or how you can make your business or your real estate business more successful by using the features. It's an idea of what they mean to you instead of how you use them. So that's what we're doing.
So today, we're gonna take a look at the pre-listing announcement system. This is something that we put in pretty recently and it can mean a lot especially in terms of your seller's presentations when you're looking to gain a new listing, they can show you how you can use the power of the system to really differentiate yourself from everyone else that might be trying to get this listing. So the idea is, that this is also gonna span off of some of the previous videos we've done and show the importance of the data and the saved searches and the cell reports, so we're taking that all to the next level with the pre-listing announcements.
So as you can see, I am flying solo today. Usually I'll have Mike with me here and actually once before even had Franklin in, joining us on the video so that we can have a little bit more of a light-hearted discussion on this whole thing, and really go through the different ideas and how well this can work for you. But Mike's actually sick today, actually at the doctor at this very minute, so what he did instead is he sent me a list of the kind of topics he wanted to go over on this and I'm just gonna go through what he has here so we can get an idea of how this can work for you.
So, pre-listing announcements, now what we discussed before were the cellular reports and how that's only half the equation when it comes to closing the deal and winning listings. So for pre-announcements, from day one, the concept of being able to place a realtor in a position of strength during a listing presentation, involves two components: the first is a reverse prospecting report, that can be shared with sellers during a listing presentation, and a tool giving realtors the power to immediately take action on those reports. And that's what allows them to further differentiate themselves from other realtors. This tool is the pre-listing announcement system.
With the pre-listing announcement system, you're able to go into a listing presentation, utilize the information from the reverse prospecting reports and demonstrate to home sellers that you have real people that are interested in their property or potentially interested in their property, that upon listing or actually even before listing, just upon agreement, upon getting the listing, you can immediately notify all those people who would be potentially interested in the property. So what you can actually say is, if you list with me today, I'll send a notification out to all these people tonight, letting them know your property is about to go on the market. And that can be a huge tool when it comes to gaining the listing; showing people that there are real people, right now that I can contact immediately, who would be interested in buying your home.
So we believe that nothing's more powerful than being able to differentiate yourself from the other realtors in your market, and that's at the end of the day, what really gets you your listings. And you can do that by showing people that you have real people that are interested in their property. Not only showing people with the reverse prospecting reports, so not only are you showing them those people with the reverse prospecting reports, but you're showing them that you can immediately reach out to those people.
So, this is kind of a short one today but what we're gonna do tomorrow on Tech Tuesday, is we'll sit down, we'll take a look at this pre-listing announcement system and show you how this actually works, and how simple it is to just go into the system, put in property information and not only as you saw in the reverse prospecting reports, see the people, or representation of the people that would potentially be interested in this property, but you can actually fire off a notification to those people immediately. So that's what's so cool about this.
