Harley:

Greetings, and welcome to another episode of Tech Tuesday presented by Delta Media Group where we just found out that dogs know math. Did you realize that? Look, if you don't believe me, just go to your dog tonight and ask them what two minus two is. I'll bet they say nothing. Sorry. I'll do better next week.

Harley:

So, today we are going to take a look at the DeltaNET app, and this is actually a native app that you can download onto your device from the Google Play store or the Apple app store. Once you have it downloaded, you will then have an icon on your dashboard or your home screen of your device that you can very easily just tap to go straight into the DeltaNET. Saves you time when, when it comes to processing leads, when it comes to getting into the DeltaNET, interacting with it quickly on your mobile device. It's a huge game changer. It just makes your life that much easier.

Harley:

So what we'll do is just take you through how you can get into that app and a couple of scenarios to look at when it comes to getting it on your device and then actually getting signed into it so it's all ready to go. So first off, the preferred way to go in and download the app is to do it from the DeltaNET. So on your mobile device, go to the DeltaNET. Now, the DeltaNET is all mobile responsive already. So everything will work as it is on your mobile device. The app really just makes it easier to stay signed in and to get into it very quickly. Now, on your mobile device, you can log into the DeltaNET and then you will want to go to your profile page.

Harley:

So you can just tap on your name or click on your name up here in the top right. This is a desktop view we're looking at, but things will be in essentially the same place in the mobile view as well. So up here in the top right, click on your name, go down to profile, and that takes you over to your profile page. And now from here, we're looking at the section that is dedicated to the DeltaNET app. I'm just going to type app up here just to narrow things down and you can see it narrows down all the sections, Offices You Appear In. See, see. If I wanted just the one section I could just type in DeltaNET. There we go. And that gives us just the one section. And you'll see here, we have some information related to the app.

Harley:

So if you're just downloading it for the first time, you just click download from your app store. It'll pipe you through the app store where you can then download the app. And once you've downloaded it from here, if you initiated the process from this button, you'll already be signed in. So as soon as the app's downloaded and installed on your device, you just tap it, you'll already be signed into your account and you'll be ready to go. That's it. Does not get much simpler than that. Now option number two is, let's say you have already gone to the app store directly and downloaded the app there so it's already on your device, but right now it's asking you for credentials to sign in. One thing you can do again, is you could log into your DeltaNET account here on your mobile device, and then just go to the same section and click sign in, and then it will know the app's already on your device. You're just not signed into it.

Harley:

So you just click there. It pipes your credentials through and signs you in automatically. So at that point, you are again, signed into the app and ready to go. Now, the last option here is if you either choose to just ... you want to log in manually or you did sign out of the app at one point, you want to log back in. But for whatever reason, maybe you can't get or you don't want to get into the DeltaNET on your mobile device, you could just load this page up on your desktop device or really any other device and go back to the same section and you can see these credentials right here. And these credentials are what can be used to log into the app manually. So when you do open the app up, it'll ask for a DMG ID and a pin.

Harley:

And that's what this information is. You just put in your DMG ID, put in your pin, and then you log in that way and that takes you into the app. So you go. That is all there is to it. Now, when it comes to actually finding the app in the app store, now I've loaded up Google Play just because it is an easier thing to see here. So just taking a look at the Google Play store, I can just search for DeltaNET. There we go. And there we go. If I search for DeltaNET, it is the very first result. At least for me. Now, the Google Play store and the Apple app store, they can take into account your actual account when it comes to what kind of search results they display you, basically what apps they show you first.

Harley:

But in general, I believe the DeltaNET app will come up right away if you search in just DeltaNET in either one of those app stores. So from the Google app store, I could just click here, even on my desktop device and I could choose to install it. And I would just tell it which of my devices that are associated with this Google account that I want to install it on. So that's one way you can do it if you're not installing the app using the actual device that you're going to use it on. So there you have it. That's all there is to it. When it comes to the DeltaNET app, you can download it from the app store now, from either the iOS or the Google app store. You can download using this button, which again is the preferred way because it'll have you signed in already.

Harley:

But once you've downloaded, you can sign in with this button or you can use these manual credentials to log in. At that point, the device will have that app right there on your home screen where you can go in and quickly get into the DeltaNET, make any changes, any adjustments that you want to, add in customers, process your leads and anything that you need to do through the DeltaNET. As always, thanks a lot for joining me here for this week's Tech Tuesday. If you have any questions, comments, concerns about this or anything else, feel free to give us a call or send an email into support@deltagroup.com and we can help you out with anything you need there. So thanks again and I will see you again next week.
