Harley:

Hello, and welcome to another edition of Tech Tuesday, where no matter how hard we try, we cannot find enough software developers to screw in a light bulb. You know, because a broken light bulb is a hardware problem. So today, we are going to take a look at some team-specific functionality. What we've done is we've recently added in the ability for a team account to display the customer reviews or the testimonials for individual team members. So we've always had the ability that you could create a team reviews page where it shows the reviews for all of the team members and also reviews that are specific to the team account itself, but now you can actually insert a widget into any custom page that contains the reviews for just a specific team member if you want. So one of the nice things you can do with that is you could actually create team member bio pages that include these little reviews widgets that will actually show that particular agent's reviews instead of that of the entire team.

Harley:

So to do that, I'm logged into an account that just happens to be a member of a team and more than that is actually a leader of the team. Therefore, this account has the ability to authenticate as the team account. So to do that, I'm going to click on my name up here at the top and I'll go down to switch to team site. Now on the team site, I'm now affecting all of the leads and settings and everything that have to do with the team account itself and not my own individual account. So if I want to add a page that has a specific team member's reviews on it, I can do that by going over here to website and down to pages just like I would on my own site only now, or rather on my own account, only now I'm affecting the team account instead of my own and I'll create a new page and we'll go ahead and call this ... We'll just leave it as a custom page here because we're going to build out the content ourselves, and I'm just going to skip down to the link title and I'm going to call this Stefan's Bio Page. Because that's whose reviews I'm going to put on this page.

Harley:

Now for the rest of these options, we have videos that go through all the details of the pages system and how to create these pages and what all these options mean, so I won't get into too much detail on those. But here in the actual page content editor, I'll write Stefan, we'll make this nice and big. Why not, we're having fun now, right? There we are. Stefan, Stefan's, Stefan's page, that's what this is. This is a bio, can't type today, bio about Stefan. It's all about him and the things he's done. We're just ... There we go. That's pretty solid.

Harley:

So now the point is, you can use this editor to build out this page content however you'd like, so I could put in a picture of him, put in more content about this. I can add more links in here, if he's got another website I want to link out to, anything like that. So I have all that kind of functionality there and then I'm going to add in his reviews. So to do that, I'm going to click on my custom functionality widget here, my short code widget and I'm going to go down and select reviews. Now in this case, because I am on a team account or authenticated as a team account, it brings up this modal that allows me to search agents by name. If I was just doing this on my own account, I would have this same reviews widget or reviews option here, but if I licked on it it would just automatically drop in the review short code. It wouldn't stop me at the step where I select an agent.

Harley:

So in this case, this is Stefan, and he is one of the members of this team, that's why I'm able to pull him up here. So I'll just start typing his name, you can see it comes up in the auto completer so I'll just click on that. There we go, insert reviews, and there we go. Just like that, this short code will be replaced with a widget containing all of his reviews on this actual page. So I can add any additional content here I'd like, and if I was making a page that could contain a bio for all of my team members for example, what I could do is just go down the line and I could actually add more than one review section. So I'll just type in a different name here, insert, and you can see it drops in another short code with a different ID on it to define that user.

Harley:

So that would be all there is to it if I wanted to create kind of an overall teams page or really just a teams page that contained reviews for multiple team members. Even then, I would only do this if I wanted to show the reviews of only some specific team members, because there is already a reviews page out there. So we've taken a look at this page, now the premise here is just adding in this review short code, so if I wanted to save this page, I would go down here to the bottom, hit submit, and then that would save this page and I could visit it on the website. But what I'm going to do instead, just to show you the other functionality here, is if I click on the predefined tab, I can also choose from these predefined page links, and because I'm on a teams site, there is an option in here under system pages for team reviews and you can't see it because I have my ... Screen recorder is working here, but there's an option for team reviews, and you can see it fills in there.

Harley:

This page is a dedicated page that shows all of the reviews for everyone on the team. So if I wanted to show them for everyone, I really just want to create a link to this page. But if I want to show them for specific team members or if I want to build out team members' specific bio pages that just show reviews for that agent, things like that, I would do so by setting up a custom page and then filling out this content with those short codes in there.

Harley:

The last thing I'll mention is that you do have the ability to include these on the website homepage as well, but they do show all of that agent's reviews. So they're going to show a lot of content, generally more than you want to show on your homepage and kind of put just as part of your homepage content. But if I did want to do that, I would set that up in exactly the same way. I would just go to the homepage, WYSIWYG Editor so we're going to to our profile page, again I'm still set up under the team, and we'll go down to ... Or rather we'll type in paragraph, and you can see that narrows it down to this paragraph about you section, and then here are those review short codes. Which I inserted in exactly the same way. Just reviews, and then put in my agent name that I would like it to target, and then insert reviews and it drops in that code as well.

Harley:

So there you go. When you're all set, you've saved any changes you'd like to save and everything is good on the team site, we can just click on our name, or rather the team name up here at the top, and then return to personal site. And now that takes us back into our own account. So there you go. So as always, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, feel free to send an email to support@deltagroup.com or give us a call. We can walk you through this or whatever else you need and if you enjoyed this video or you'd like to see any more content from us, feel free to like and subscribe and you'll get notifications if you click the little bell, you'll get notifications when we post new videos.
