Greetings, fellow real estate enthusiasts! As someone who has done his fair share of training in the realm of real estate, I've witnessed firsthand the extraordinary power of modern technology in transforming mere muggles into real estate wizards. In this journey, we'll explore a few ways in which technology has revolutionized agent training, unlocking the secrets to success and turning trainees into spellbinding superstars of the property market.

It's amazing how far immersion will take you when it comes to learning something new, and virtual reality (VR) has become more immersive (and affordable) than ever before. Picture this: a room full of wide-eyed trainees, each adorned with virtual reality...

The world of real estate sales is a peculiar one. It's a world where properties change hands for millions of dollars, where emotions run high, and where communication is everything. It's a world where a well-timed email or phone call can make all the difference, and where the wrong word can cost you a sale.

Why Communication is Vital

As a real estate professional, you know better than most the importance of communication in your line of work. But in case you need a reminder, we'll explore just how vital effective communication is in real estate sales.

As my role at Delta Media Group® has changed over the years, I've learned a lot about the value of process and organization when it comes to, not just getting things done, but using time as efficiently as possible. It's very difficult to even get a handle on how much work you really have if the bulk of your time is spent working out the best way to prioritize and approach that work instead of actually doing it.

This used to be very simple for me as my role here was so reactive by nature. As someo...

Lately, I've been focusing a lot on playing the "long game." To me, that means doing the prep work and putting in the extra effort to do things right, as opposed to throwing a quick solution at a problem just for the sake of doing something. I remember a football season a few years back where the Cleveland Browns were actually sneaking out some wins. By the numbers, it looked like a good season. They even almost found their way to the playoffs for the second time in many decades. However, if you looked a little closer, you could see it was a fluke. These wins weren't coming from a well-structured team with its plays and strategies in order. They were coming from one guy that was a master of the kickoff return (we miss you, Josh Cribbs) and some cl...

I really love the holiday season. I always have. When I was a kid (my wife might argue that I've yet to pass beyond that stage of development) the season was full of excitement. The snow starts falling, lots of interesting things are going on, you're getting together with family, you're getting time off school, and let's not forget about presents. As an adult, my priorities have changed, but the excitement is still there. That's not to say I don't still enjoy many of those elements of the holidays that I enjoyed as a kid, but the thing I'm most excited about now is that the business side of things slows down enough that I can get in that "catch-up time" that I've been in desperate need of since about May. I've been saying "that's on my list for when I have...
