Luxury real estate often has an automatic connotation: expensive. But just because something is luxury doesn't mean it automatically has to be unaffordable. In fact, what is or is not considered luxury in real estate varies wildly from market to market. In 1977 Harold Crye and Dick Leike were working at a real estate company together in Memphis, Tennessee, and they decided to team up and start a new brokerage. Crye-Leike Real Estate Services started with a single office, a phone, and a few agents. 

Crye-Leike is now one of the largest independent brokerages in the nation, with over 3,000 agents and over 600 staff members in seven states and one beautiful island: Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico.
