SEO Platform Changes for March
Following last month's SEO Platform update, we have a few more updates we have made during the past month.
Updated Sitemaps and Sitemap Ping
This month we updated the structure of the sitemaps used on your web site by the SEO Platform. This was done in an effort to increase the crawl rate of search engines and the quality of web site indexing.
During this time we have also launched, in beta form on one web site, RSS Sitemap Pinging to Google. Due to the success of our beta testing this update will launch to all SEO customers over the next couple weeks. With this update Google will be made aware of new listings on your web site within a couple minutes of it going live on your web site.
Updated Property Detail Page for the Mobile First Platform
Many of you have, or are in the process of, converting to our Mobile First Platform. It is important to emphasize that the concept of doing "mobile first web site design" is simply an approach to doing a responsive design where the primary focus is on the mobile web site visitor.
As we continue to focus first of the mobile web site visitor we are doing a significant amount of work in maximizing conversion rates on the new Mobile First/SEO Platform property detail pages. Work has gone into maximizing email requests, showing requests, calls, and SMS engagements.
