Good morning and welcome to another edition of Tech Tuesday presented by Delta Media Group. Today we just want to let you know that when it comes to getting the turkey out of the oven and it not being a dried out mess, or family interaction, or even shopping on Grey Thursday. Grey Thursday. You remember that term. We just want to let you know, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Today we actually have kind of a short video, which would be a nice reprieve from the last couple. The last couple was running a little longer there. But today we are going to take a look at a new feature that we've added to the platform that... there's been a need for it here for a while, so we finally got it in place, but it is a payment portal.

So now you can go in and you can not only create a payment profile for use for like the upgrade package. So if you've signed up for the upgrade package and you know the credit card number and we're billing you directly for that, you can now manage that credit card there. Also, if you're setting up any ads to the ad wizard platform, you can go in and you can manage payment profiles for those as well. So it just simplifies things so that you don't have to put in a credit card number every time you create an ad. So let's go into the Delta Net and take a look at it. So you get to this payment profile or the first way to get there is we'll go down here and I'm going to go to preferences and payment profile.

We'll give it a second here. There we go. Now you can see it loads up this box here. This box is actually coming directly from the payment processor. We're not actually storing any credit card information. We're not maintaining any of that. Authorized.net is the payment processor that's handling all that, so this really is just a portal to their system. Within this you can create a new payment method where you would just go in, you enter your credit card number, expiration date, all the information like you would anywhere else. If you have any profiles created or after you create one, you'll be able to see your payment profile here. Now keep in mind at this point that the system is capable of storing more than one payment profile for you. It's just something that authorized.net allows. But as of right now, our platform will only use one of those.

You'll want to keep that in mind when you set up your credit card information in here, so if you have one, you can't have multiple profiles at this point that are used for different things. If you say you want to go in here and you want to change the credit card to be used for your next payment, for example, you would go here and click your little arrow and then go down and edit it, or you could delete this one and add a new one. Just to avoid confusion, you'll typically just want to stick with there being one profile in here, and if I click on edit it gives me the information where I can in and modify all of that information. I can either change it there or I can delete and add a new one. So we'll cancel that.

That is how you go ahead and you enter a payment profile. Now if you were already on the upgrade package and you had a credit card in our platform that we were auto-billing monthly for that package or even auto-billing yearly, we've migrated all of our records from the old system into this one. When you go to this page you'll be able to see the information that we're billing your upgrade package to, and you'll also be able to go in, modify it, change it and all that if you want to. Now the last thing I'll add here is that the expiration date, you see, you can edit just the expiration date if you want and again through the payment processor, they will attempt to automatically update your expiration date when it comes time close to your credit card expiring. And the reason that they do that is so that you don't have to be inconvenienced with coming in here and updating your credit card information.

Say your card expires and you get... Our system will automatically send you a few emails to let you know that you know your card didn't go through this time so you have a few days to come call in and update it and give us a new card number. Even if the only thing that changed was the expiration date. Well, authorized.net we'll work with your payment processor, with a credit card company to update those for you, so that way you don't have to worry about your website going down when the only thing that happened was your card expiration date changed. So, know that that functionality is something that is available in here and that it should take care of everything for you so that you don't have to worry about your website going down unless you come in here and actively choose to remove the payment profile or the payment method.

Alright, so that is the first half of the system. Now the second one is in addition to handling the upgrade packages and agent website packages that are billed to you directly if there are any built to you directly, and that just depends on your company's payment profile. The other thing you can do with this is if I go to marketing and down here to Ad Wizard, whenever I create an ad using Ad Wizard, it will automatically use those payment profiles for me if I want it to. I'm going to go here and then we'll see that I have an existing ad that still says payment required. I click on that one and it takes me to the payment screen for that ad. Now from here, if I were to create an ad from scratch, this would kind of be the last screen that I land on.

What we have here is we basically took the ad all the way to the end and created it, but didn't actually go through with the payment, so that's why I could come back to this page. Either way, you end up on the same page. Now from here, we can see there's a message at the bottom that says we will use your stored payment method to collect payment information. If you'd like to prefer a different method, click here. So at this point, if I have a payment profile set up on that other page and I click pay, that's the only thing I have to do. It'll automatically use all the payment profile information that I have stored and it'll make the payment and then the ad will run. However, if I don't want to use that stored payment method, I can click on click here.

There we go. Now it takes me to kind of a secondary payment page where I still have this pay option, but now if I click it, it's going to ask me to enter a credit card information just like it would have before instead of using my stored payment method. So that way you have the option of, just storing a method and using that over and over again as you build these ads, or if you want to use a different credit card for a specific ad or even a different credit card for every ad, even though you have a payment profile set up, you still have the option of doing that. So there you go. Now as we go forward in the future with the payment profile system and the idea is that everything that we add to the system that would have any type of payment attached to it or that you might want a store credit card number four so you don't have to enter it over and over again, will all be managed to that payment profile page.

It is one more way that we are just trying to simplify and automate things for you as much as we can so that you can focus on managing your business, focus on selling real estate as opposed to, managing payments and managing payment profiles and things. So like I said, it was a short one today, so as always. Thanks a lot for joining me. If you have any questions, concerns, comments about this or anything else on our platform, feel free to give us a call or send an email into support@deltagroup.com and we'll be happy to help you out. Thanks a lot.
