A full-service real estate firm serving both the Pennsylvania and Maryland real estate markets, BHHS Homesale Realty has been a partner of Delta Media Group for more than 15 years. According to BHHS Homesale Realty's CEO Rod Messick, the key to their decision to partner with Delta many years ago was that they would be truly seen and valued as a partner, as opposed to just a client. 

He says, "From the very beginning, from the very moment they walked in and did their presentation back when we were running a selection process over 15 years ago to choose a new vendor, they stood out as somebody who was really interested in partnering with us at Homesale."

He explains that rather than simply providing clients with what Delta believes to be the best products, Delta Media Group collaborates with them to deliver the exact tools they desire. 

"It's not a 'here's our idea, take it or leave it' type relationship," says Messick. "It's very much a collaborative effort. I think over the years, as we've brought ideas, as Delta's brought ideas for us to test, as we've pushed and challenged each other to grow, it's been a very symbiotic relationship to help us both. It's certainly helped us appeal to a broader market with the core piece of our technology stack being a really stable piece."

Messick attributes their collaborative relationship to why they have been with Delta Media Group for so long, saying, "We haven't jumped around and moved vendors every two or three years as some of our peers have done."

A True Partnership Includes Training

Messick has also discovered that being a partner of Delta Media Group means getting properly trained in using new products and continuing to receive valuable support along the way. Even better, this support is tailored to the systems and methods the brokerage leaders already have in place.

"Delta's always been super engaged in the way we go about training a product," he explains. "We like the train-the-trainer methodology. We like to have our trainers, leaders, and people in the field actually doing the boots-on-the-ground training and taking that responsibility because we feel like whatever happens, we're going to own it anyway. And Delta's always been supportive of that. They've gotten us the right materials, the right support, and the ability to take that next step."

Accessing Top-Notch Tools

BHHS Homesale Realty is additionally fond of their Delta Media Group-powered websites and the features they have through those. Sandra Troccoli, BHHS Homesale Realty's VP of IT and Digital Platforms, especially loves the AVM (Automated Valuation Model) tool.  

"I love our AVM," she notes. "We were one of the first brokerages in our marketplaces to have an online AVM."

They also love that each agent can have their own customizable, full-service website that distinguishes them from their competition.

"We set up custom websites for agents interested in a full-service website experience, where they don't have to do anything, " explains Troccoli. "They enjoy a one-on-one consultation, and then we take care of the rest. Delta has been a tremendous partner by providing a full agent website platform, one that is capable of supporting teams, and providing customized template capabilities that far outrank a lot of the other players in this tech arena. Agents and teams are provided with unique online marketing that allows them to stand out from their competition, even internally."

Troccoli has seen how helpful the marketing and lead generation tools in DeltaNET® have been for the agents at BHHS Homesale Realty as well. She has noticed that automated reports, specifically the Market Watch and Seller Reports, are the tools they utilize most. 

"It's probably best in class from what we've seen out there in the way in which Delta has really expanded it and allowed for populating statistics from other national portal platforms, bringing all of that into one collective report for our agents to use," she says. "The agents really love it."

Messick likes the flexibility the Seller Reports offer by allowing agents to send the report automatically or get it sent to them first so they can customize it. 

"The automation inside the seller report is super beneficial," he expresses. "I think the flexibility it offers an agent of whether they send it directly to the customer or whether they get it first and then send it on and make some commentary on it is wonderful."

Another automated feature that is popular among the BHHS Homesale Realty agents is Ad Wizard, as it makes marketing their listings so much simpler. 

"The Ad Wizard feature automated their posts for their new listings and got marketing done for their new listings in a manner that they didn't have to think about," explains Troccoli. "It just happened for them."

Troccoli notes that the best part about these automated tools in DeltaNET is that they save the agents time, freeing them up to focus more on other aspects of their business. 

"The set-it-and-forget-it technology, like Ad Wizard and the Mark Watch Reports, allows our agents to focus on what they do best rather than having to worry about the communication pieces and marketing for their listings," she says.

Messick mentions that part of the reason they are so satisfied with these automated features is that their team had the opportunity to collaborate with Delta to develop the products in the first place.

"Both of those features are things that I know Sandra and other members of our team were super collaborative on the development of and really involved in, and their voice was heard throughout the development, which really created an opportunity to deliver a phenomenal outcome for our agents and for the consumers they serve," he says.
