We have been getting this question quite a bit lately: Are you RESO certified?
Now you may be asking yourself "what does RESO certified mean" or even "what is RESO?" Both of these are great questions. Let me try and answer them the best that I can.
I've taken most of this from the RESO web site at www.reso.org/about-us. RESO is the Real Estate Standards Organization, incorporated in November 2011 as an independent, not-for-profit trade organization that was previously a section of the National Association of REALTORS®. If you want to know more about RESO I would suggest that you visit their website and read more information on their site.
RESO provides the ability for various real estate organizations such as technology companies, like Delta Media Group, and MLS' to become RESO certified. RESO certification means that these companies have demonstrated that they implement RESO standards and their systems are compliant with these RESO standards.
So, is Delta Media Group RESO certified? Yes. Delta Media Group received RESO RETS Client Certification for RETS 1.7.2 on December 2, 2016.
What this means for customers is that Delta Media Group has demonstrated to RESO that we fully embrace and support industry standards for the sharing and delivery of real estate related data. By supporting and implementing these standards we are able to provide higher quality data and focus more resources and energy into our product development roadmap instead of data integrations.
In addition to RESO Certification Delta Media Group also participates in RESO conferences and is a member of RESO.
