Charles Copeland Spotlight

Meet Charles Copeland from Delta Media Group's Tech Support Department. Charles is one of the kind and friendly voices you hear when you dial "1-800-WHAT-SHOULD-I-DO-NOW."

Okay, that's not really our 1-800 number for Tech Support, but Charles REALLY is one of the kindest people you'll meet.

Charles joined Delta Media Group about 18 months ago as a Tech Support Team Member and Programmer for Properties in Motion.  You could describe his personality as exploding with creativity, motivation and passion in everything he does.

In between answering questions and producing videos for your websites, some "super important" questions were asked of Charles.  We thought we would share his answers with you:

  • What is your favorite thing about working at Delta Media Group?
    My co-workers! I work with the friendliest people who are passionate about technology like I am so it's easy to have conversations about the newest developments in just about anything tech.

  • If you could do another job for one day, what would it be?
    Live Sound Audio Engineer — I love music, and getting the best sound out of instruments has always been one of my favorite things to do.

  • What do you like to do outside of work?
    I play video games, eat pizza, and like to make music.

  • Where would you take a dream vacation?
    I've never really wanted to go to any place in particular, but I have always wanted to do a cross-country road trip and stop in the 48 states.

  • If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why? 
    I would want to meet Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney of the Black Keys. Being that they're from Akron just north of us, they are my personal hometown heroes

  • What is on your bucket list?
    I'm not a big fan of heights but I would love to go skydiving!

  • What is the weirdest job you've ever had?
    I once worked on the roof of a cold storage warehouse as summer help for a company that my mom worked for. My job was to scrape all of the rust and old paint and then repaint miles of pipe that snaked along the roof of the building.
