This month's Employee Spotlight features Shane Rogal, Delta Media Group's Systems Manager and Design Manager, and a Delta team member for over 16 years.
- What is your favorite thing about working at Delta Media Group?
It started off being "the challenge", learning new things to overcome new obstacles. Make it faster, more resilient, more secure, easier to use…and the challenge is still fun even today.
After a few years though, I realized that it's the people.
I work with a dedicated team of people who genuinely care about the success of Delta Media Group, our customers and each other. That has meaning even on the days when "the challenge" is just plain frustrating. Our customers are top notch and helping them grow their business brings a real sense of accomplishment. - Before working at Delta Media Group, what was your most unusual job?
I had a job with a small engineering firm while I was in college. I was doing data acquisition and controls on a test rig designed to predict journal bearing failure in jet engines. - What do you like to do outside of work?
Lately I've taken to a hobby of smoking meat. - Where are your favorite places to go on the web?
