We are going to take a look at the MCFL system. We've done some videos for this, but in the past, and looked over everything that you can do there, but we've added some functionality to it. So, we wanted to go in, kind of revisit it, and look everything over. Plus, I'll use this video as an opportunity to kind of link together the different pieces of the MCFL system.

First and foremost, let's go into the Delta net, take a look at where it is. Now, first off, MCFL stands for My Customer for Life. To get to it, I'm going to go down to customers and then down to MCFL campaign. So, the campaign itself is kind of the first part of this and the original part of the MCFL system. What this does is on whatever interval you choose, which I think is monthly by default, it will send an email to every customer that you put in this campaign and that email will contain a sampling of three different articles that we write. We write all these articles in-house, so this is all content that you'll only see here and only see from this system.

What we'll then do is if any of those customers click on one of the articles in that email, it'll take them through to your website where they can read the whole article and the system will also track which article they clicked on. That way it can use that so that in the future when it sends them more my customer for life emails, it will favor articles from the category that they've shown an interest in. So, the whole idea is that it keeps track of their interests or what they're looking at content wise, and continues to send them information that is more relevant to them. The idea is you're now sending them content that they have a genuine interest in. So, you're becoming more engaged with your customer that way. Plus, they're getting something they want to read. The article content actually tends to be very interesting. So, as of now those categories are buying, selling, and home improvement or property management, depending on how you look at it. So, the articles kind of pertain to those different subjects.

To set it up, from this page, I'll go down here, ensure that MCFL campaign is enabled, and click on our customers and groups here. Then generally, I'll just add all new and existing customers to this campaign because really anybody in your customer database could benefit from these articles. It's a good idea to turn it on for everybody, but like any other campaign in the Delta net, I could say, 'Add selected contacts or groups', and then I could select from my customer groups or select from my individual customers down here, and then just have them add it on their own. Anytime I add someone to the system, if I want to add them to this, I'll go in and put them in here manually. Generally, we'll just go with, 'Add all new and existing', and hit save, and then anybody who's in my database or anybody added in the future will automatically be added to this campaign and start getting these emails.

Now, once they're getting them, this section here we'll fill out with the standard metrics for an email campaign, so it'll show what date it sent and then it will also show how many it sent, how many of those emails were opened, and then how many click throughs there were from those emails, so you can get real metrics as far as how many people are viewing and what kind of engagement you're getting from these. Those will just keep on expanding out. You can also click on one to see the history of it and see specifically who it went to or what email address it went to, and whether that individual viewed it and clicked on an email, or a link in the email rather.

Next, as we scroll down here, we get a few settings for this system. These are set up by default so you don't really need to change anything here unless you went to, but we can see right now I have the frequency set to weekly, but I can set that out to biweekly, monthly or quarterly. I can choose the date to begin sending it if I'm just turning this on for the first time, I can customize the subject line a little bit and you can see these kind of variables are in here. These will automatically fill in with the subject of the first article and how many articles went into this email. Then I can have some introduction text that also can include some of those variables. The variables that you can use are listed out right here, so that's what this code legend is. These will automatically fill in with what's described here. Once I have everything set up the way I want, I just click on update and that saves my articles or saves my settings for these articles. Then after that they just start going out on their own.

So, that is part one of the MCFL campaign system. Part two. I can go down here and I can click on MCFL articles, so also under customers. Now, this is a new feature we've added. Here, you can see all the articles that are in this system. You can search for specific articles or search by category even if you want. So if I type in, 'Buy', I get everything with buying a home here. So, it's just a real, kind of a loose search there. Down here, I have an actions button next to each one of these so I can click on, 'Actions', and I can view a preview of that article. So, let's go ahead and do a preview of this one. There we are, there's my article and the information just loaded up in the Delta net here. Then I can also generate a PDF of this article.

So, if I wanted to take this article and either upload the PDF somewhere else or if I wanted to actually print it out and have a printed version of this article that I can lay out in an open house or use however I'd like and have it include my branding and everything on it, I can do that. I would just go here and print this article out, or generate a PDF and then print this out, or even send it to a print shop, or take it to a print shop and have them print it. So, we'll close that out.

Now, if I click up here on my settings button, this gives me the ability to modify a little bit about how the branding is laid out on these. They're not really emails, but on these either previewed articles or printed articles. So, I can change the header a little bit. I can change the body text, and you saw that agent placeholder text was on my preview before. Then I can modify the logo here if I'd like., just kind of choose... My company logos will be loaded up here by default so I can choose from the different logos and go with the one I like the best or the one that fits the best in the email.

So, there you have it. That is the article portion of the MCFL system. Now, the next thing you can do with these is we'll scroll down here to Facebook and click on post tools and this will take us into our Facebook auto connector post tools. From here, if I'm going here for the first time, I'll have a sign in button and if I click that I just signed into my Facebook account or if I'm already logged into my Facebook account, it'll already handle that and just follow through the steps to get my Facebook account attached to my Delta net. Once that's attached, if I have access to multiple business pages, I'll be able to get to those. Our setting's specific to each of those pages by clicking on this dropdown up here. If I just have the one, it'll be selected on that one by default and then I can see what it is here if I just want to verify that I'm posting to the page that I want to be posting to.

So, we are on the Facebook auto connector settings for the specific business page I want and among all the settings on here, and we have some videos specific for Facebook auto connector, but for the MCFL portion of it, I'm just going to scroll down to the MCFL article section. The way I would set this up is, if I want those MCFL articles to automatically post to my Facebook page when they're added to the platform, I can do that with this section. So, what we do is we create these new articles every week. Generally, we're adding three articles every Thursday to this, and that's why this week starts on a Thursday. So, what I would do if I wanted this to post automatically is, I would turn it on and then down here I can limit my post frequency if I want, so let's say I only want it to post at most one article per day. Otherwise, it'll post all three on the first day. So, Thursday when we add the new ones to the system, it'll post all three of them to your Facebook page.

So, we'll do one per day. Now, down here, I can choose the days that I want it to post. Again, like I said, it starts on Thursday because that's when we added the articles, but if I had this limited to one and I say, "Thursday, Friday and Monday", why not? What the system will do is because the limit is set to one, we'll add three new articles on Thursday, it'll grab the first one, it'll post that one on Thursday and then it hits its limit and it queue up the other two. So, then on Friday, it'll post the second one, again up to the limit, and it'll skip Saturday and Sunday because those aren't post days for me, and then Monday it'll post the third one, and that'll post all of my articles on the days of my choosing. Then the following week on Thursday when we add more articles to the system, it'll repeat the process over again. So, that is how that whole thing is set up to work.

Now, I can also set this to unlimited and it would just post everything when they come in. The next thing that I can do with the Facebook auto connect or posting of these MCFL articles is I can put a delete date in here. If I don't want to leave these articles up on my Facebook page and indefinitely, I can go in here and I can add a number to this field and I can go with days, I can split it out to even just minutes or hours if I want to narrow it down that much, or I can go with months, quarters, years. So, I have a lot of options as far as how long I leave them on there. Now, I recently saw one where they were deleting them after a year. So, I would set this to a year, set this to one, and then what'll happen is this will stay or that article will stay on my Facebook page and then a year down the road the system will automatically delete that post for me. The point of that is just kind of keeping your Facebook business page kind of cleaned up.

So, you have it. Now, the last thing you can do with these MCFL articles is we have a default template and that template just looks like this. All that's doing is that's the text that goes along with this post. So, it's going to have a post that's a link to the article on your website, so it should pull a picture from that post itself and then just have that kind of brief description of the article. Then it will also put this title and this little teaser text above it. If I want that to look different, I can go over here to edit and I can create a new template and then I can make that text say whatever I want. So, I can use these values and it'll fill in automatically with the article title, things like that, and then go with whatever other texts that I put here. Then if I save that template, that'll be selectable for the MCFL articles, so then every time an article posts, it's going to push this text along with the link to the article and the information that goes along with that link.

Once you have the MCFL Facebook auto connector settings set up the way you want, you just scroll down here to the bottom, hit, 'Save preferences', and then that'll be saved. Then the system, next time it runs, after we've added new articles, then it'll start posting those MCFL articles to your page as well.

Now, the last thing with the MCFL articles is I can make a custom page with these articles as well. If I go to website and down to pages, you can see we have our page list on the left, if I go to new page and then click on, 'Predefined', over here, I can click on my predefined page link drop down, it will scroll down and see if we can find them... There we are, My Customer for Life. So, if I click on those from my predefined list, this is going to be a page that has links to all those articles on it. If I want to add these to just the navigation on my website in addition to sharing them the other ways that I do, I would select that there, give it a link title, 'My client articles', why not?

So, the link title is going to be what someone clicks on to get to this page. Then under areas link shown, we'll add it to the navigation menu. It will automatically fill in with the link title because I put one in there, so that'll be the page title as well. I can add meta descriptions or meta keyword tags to those as well and that would kind of help for search engine indexing of this page. lastly, I can set up the campaigns and this is available for all custom pages. So, the idea is that these are all the campaigns that I have set up in my email campaign system, if someone visits this page and I want them to be added to a campaign automatically, I could check some boxes here and then it would behave that way.

Now, we'll click on update. That will add our page to our page list over here. So, we should see my client articles in this list. There they are. It's page number 27. Now, if I go down to my navigation menu, there's my page here at the bottom, this will put it in the root level of my navigation, but let's say I want it to go under, 'Contact me', because why not? I'll embed it under that one. Now, it'll appear in a drop down menu there, hit, 'Save', and now if I scroll to the top and go to my website, that loads up. I never did change that green from a few videos ago. It's a good green though, right?

So, now if I roll over, 'Contact me', you can see one of the options is my client articles. I click on it, it takes my request under advisement and then takes me to that client articles page. Now, I can see all of My Customer for Life articles publicly on my website as well. if I click on any of them, it'll take me through and give me that article specifically, so then I can see, read that, see the detail about that article.

So, there you go. There you have it. That is the My Customer for Life system in a nutshell. I've tried to combine all the different ways that we kind of utilize those these days cause we're kind of working on really unifying our features so that the things come together in a logical way that kind of works within your workflow. As always, thanks a lot for joining me this week. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, feel free to send an email into support@deltagroup.com or give us a call. I'll see you next week.
