In this video, we demonstrate the new and improved Help Center in the DeltaNET. The Help Center is continually updated with new content to help you learn how to get the most out of the DeltaNET platform features.

Harley:

Hello, and welcome to another edition of Tech Tuesday, presented by Delta Media Group, where we just found out that there's actually electricity in the upside down. Who knew? I didn't know that. That was interesting to me.

Harley:

Anyway, I've got a short one for you today. Today, we're going to take a look at the new and improved DeltaNET help center. Basically, what we've done is we've taken our original knowledge base that was built into the DeltaNET, and vastly improved it to make it easier for you to find different help articles, and even short snippet videos that will walk you through various functionality in the DeltaNET.

Harley:

So first off, to get there, there is a help center link right down here at the bottom of your side navigation. Now, all the articles in the help center, you can also get to using the quick actions bar up here at the top. So we'll go ahead and click on help center, and this takes us into our new interface here. And now it's as simple as, if you need help, ask the question. So if I want to know, how do I send an eblast? How do I send an eblast? And there we are. Just like this, this fires up basically a full text search results of articles, all related to the topic that you typed in up at the top.

Harley:

So you can go very specific. You can go very simple. And the whole system is designed to just help you find the articles you need to help you do what you need to. And you can see, in this case, we've got the SMS blast system here. So this gives us information on the SMS blast instead of the email blast. But we could say, sending an email blast, and there we are. First result, message email blast. And if I click on that, this takes me to a page that will actually play a video right up here at the top that will walk me through it, as well as a written guide for how I can go in and send an email blast.

Harley:

And really, the whole system is set up that way. So I can go to... If I just want to know about domains, I can type in domain, and I get all the articles related to domains. And you can see here, the first one, how you can purchase a new domain name in the DeltaNET. This is how you get to the page and how you follow the process to ultimately purchase a domain name. And really, it's that simple.

Harley:

So in addition to being able to type out a question, or a phrase, or a keyword into this search box and find related articles that way, I can click this down arrow, and I can find related articles that way. So if I clear out my search query here and click on my arrow, here's just a wild list of the different articles and keywords that are built into the system that I can click on to find information about those topics.

Harley:

I can also go back to my categories here, and I can select a category, and find all the articles related to that category. So here we are, customer center, how to add customers. See it brings it up. We have our little snippet video here, so we can see how to do that. And also, on any of these article pages, I can go up here to the top. I can click print to print this written guide out, or I can click link to copy a link to this page to my clipboard, which makes it a very easy way for me to just copy a link to this particular help article page, and then send that to someone else if they can't find it.

Harley:

Because this is in the DeltaNET, they will have to log in to be able to get to this page. If they follow this link I send to them, but it'll still take them right to the page. So you can click on that link, send it to someone else. They can follow it, and then it'll have them log into the DeltaNET. Once they're logged in, it will take them straight to this page. So we'll back out of that. There we go.

Now, in addition to that, we have some frequently asked questions over here on the right, and we're continually building this section out as we get more frequently asked questions. That way, you can find a shortcut to just common issues we run into and things we find out about there. And if you've looked through all of these pieces here and you've decided that you still want some help or all your questions weren't answered, you have a convenient way that you can email our support team at support@deltagroup.com, or you can call us and get ahold of a support agent directly.

And then, lastly, we have a link to our Tech Tuesday videos here too, just to make a more convenient way for you to get through to YouTube. And if I click on this, this will actually take me straight into YouTube to our YouTube channel, and straight into the Tech Tuesday playlist, where I can click on any of these and see a Tech Tuesday on a specific topic of my choosing.

So the last thing I'll point out here is, if I type up here email blast, you can see it brings up the navigation for the email blast page. But if I scroll down a bit, we also have these articles loading up in the help section here.

So the whole idea is we want to make it as easy and fast as possible for you to find answers to just common usage issues you'll run into in the DeltaNET, or really just to learn how to use the system. I would imagine there are plenty of things in here that you've just never found before, and don't even realize it has, and this is a good way for you to get access, and see all those things, and see how to use those.
