There is no crystal ball that agents can use to try and prepare for a future in real estate that will look so vastly different than it does today. The buyer commission lawsuit settlement has left an ever-moving target for what the landscape of real estate will look like moving forward. I have spent the last six weeks meeting with some of the nation's largest real estate brokerages and working with the product team at Delta to try and understand how we can best empower real estate brokerages and agents to continue to be successful in this new landscape we find ourselves in. Ultimately, my conclusion was that agents need to be ready to get back to the basics of truly looking at themselves as sales professionals.Â
The agents and brokers who w...

Lynn Wardley started Wardley Real Estate in his home state of Utah in the early 1970's. With about 1800 agents spanning the entire state, the brokerage grew to be Utah's largest and most successful real estate company within just a few years. After finding such success, Lynn was approached in 1999 by Better Homes and Gardens (BH&G) to take over a brokerage in Las Vegas to fill an opening created by a broker that left the BH&G network. Later that year, Wardley purchased Frontier BH&G in Denver, Colorado. A few years later in 2001, NRT purchased both the Utah and Denver operations, which combined had around 3,000 agents. It was then that Las Vegas and the surrounding areas became...

Co-founded by Sheryl Chinowth & Lee Cohen in 2004, Chinowth & Cohen REALTORS® is the largest independent real estate company in Oklahoma, servicing Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and the surrounding areas.Â
Upon its founding, the husband and wife pairing brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the brokerage. Chinowth began her real estate career by working for her father's firm. A natural-born leader, she earned the title of a top producer quite quickly, soon becoming a mentor and manager for the company. After moving to Tulsa and making a name for herself in residential real estate in a new city, she met Cohen, a top producer in commercial real estate. He learned the life of real estate from his grandfather, who had so...

My first exposure to The Realty Alliance was in 2017 when Delta Media Group® first partnered with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walston. At the time, I had only been with Delta for two short years, and HPW's partnership with Delta marked the first partnership we had ever forged with a brokerage that belonged to The Realty Alliance. As we are a quarter of the way through 2024, I am happy to say that I have personally partnered with an additional 15+ Realty Alliance members over the years.Â
Brokerages belonging to The Realty Alliance are some of the most forward-thinking brokerages I have had the pleasure of working with in my professional career. As I noticed the sheer talent that belonged to these...
