I have been contemplating the importance of relationships in both my personal and professional lives lately. So about a week ago, I decided to revisit a century-old book that I had read a couple of times before. Since my time seems to be in short supply these days, I decided to try and find an audio version of the book so I could listen to it while I worked out. I quickly found that a revised version of the book had recently been released and was available in an audio version, so I downloaded it and started listening.

What book is so good that I felt the need to read it a third time? How to Win Friends and Influence People: Updated for the Next Generation of...

If history has taught us anything, especially the past three years, it is that there is no way for the future to be accurately predicted. In some ways, this is probably a good thing because then life would be very boring. After all, it would be predictable. Thinking back, it was quite simple to do yet those 'simple things' were so elusive to the person who was runnin...

In 2021, and most likely going into 2022, you need to be very intentional and have a strategic approach to getting new listings. In some of my previous articles, I've focused on more passive methods in getting new listings. The passive methods I described in those articles are still good methods for an ongoing strategic approach, but with the current state of the industry, you need to be more aggressive in getting new listings.

If you are in management at your real estate firm or you are a team lead, I am a firm believer that you need to take a proactive approach when it comes to attracting new listings right now. Because, unfortunately, if you wait for your sales associates to do something on their own, you will find that...
